I agree with you that IQ tests are skewed for those "well-rounded" folks fortunate enough to be moderate is everything. I am one of the many "triangular" people that have very strong skills in one field (reasoning) and very poor in another (math). This holds me back from many areas of academia, and is unfortunate for society because I have much to offer. I am even labelled "learning disabled" in California, pointing out not what I can do, but what I cannot.
Perhaps one day western society shall wake up and smell the roses, accepting differing abilities as assets. Alas, I must be dreaming.

I have just read your article, "How Many Jews Did Hitler Kill". I found it to be concise, and absolutely thought provoking. As a Jew, it is unfortunate that I never came across such an article previously, as this has given me an even more horrific dimension, and consequently more food for thought on an issue of 6 million Jews which has been hammered so repeatedly that I have never dared to question its gross validity.

To counter the Nazis' intention of giving the impression that those Jews never existed, research should be initiated to approximate the real number of the Jewish population in pre-hitlerian Europe. Today's advancement in informatics and probability calculations could make such research possible. Perhaps topology which works with 'hints' would help.
The present revelations about Jewish accounts in Swiss banks already gives us an idea of how important the Jewish population must have been, considering that the majority of the Jews were too poor to have accounts in Swiss banks. The majority of the European population was poor, and the Jews were no exception. Ancient Polish literature (Orzeszkowa and others) abounds in description of Jewish misery. And how about the Ashkenaze (Yiddish) literature, art and folksongs?
Another 'hint' -- the percentage of Jewish officers in the pre-war Polish army, as I mentioned in the article: I think it's universally known that Polish culture and history is based very much on the Romantic spirit of faith and chivalry, love for the homeland, pride of the glorious army... Not so long ago, almost every family wanted its sons to be priests or soldiers. We know that this kind of mystic was not common among the Polish Jews. In sum, the army didn't like the Jews and the Jews didn't like the army. In those uncomfortable conditions could the Jews and the Christians be represented by the same percentage of officers? I believe that the probability equals zero. What should be the real percentage of the Jewish population in order to produce 10% officers? Let the topologists speculate about it if interested but in advance I reject the official claim that the Jewish population in Poland equalled only 10%
The last hint: The Jews are one of the oldest continuous populations in Europe. Alexander the Great declared: "with the Jewish archers I conquered Persia." How important the population must have been to offer enough archers "to conquer Persia?" The Jews were everywhere and were appreciated and respected because of their skills and their fighting spirit. Even "antisemitism" which started after the disastrous Jewish revolt against the Romans couldn't seriously affect their number, as I explain in my article. A French writer, Alain Peyrefitte, wrote a book in the sixties "Les Juifs" ("The Jews") in which he sustains that practically everybody in Europe is of Jewish extraction. If the Jews were numerous enough to mark the majority of the non-Jewish population then Hitler may have killed more people in Europe than all the plagues in history combined. WM

I've read the VAGABOND; the articles are good, but the quotes are more than excellent. Simple words and short sentences depicting the profound manifestation of our reality, sinking in to the reader's mind, inspire the imagination to the level of touching the wisdom and heart of enlightened divinity itself. Superb! I'm looking forward to reading more.

Good Sir,
Dropped in from the Castle to have a look around but found no guestbook in which to make a small remark or two. Excellent site and very well organized. I most especially liked the Communications Page. I think it is good to get people's comments, both good and bad. Sometimes they can see things in a light one is not able to see in. I have always thought the best judge of someone's worth is how they are perceived by others, not by how they perceive themselves. Don't you agree? I have enjoyed my visit and will return.
