Fact #1. Native Africans sold their own people into slavery to Americans for food during the "triangle trade". American blacks should be outraged at native Africans for selling their relatives into slavery. Americans could not have bought or traded goods and services unless they were willing to buy and sell. American blacks should file a suit against their native homelands backs in Africa for selling their ancestors into slavery, again one cannot buy something that isn't for sell.
Fact 4. The "MAJORITY" of white Americans in the USA today (Europeans, Middle Eastern and Asians) came to American AFTER slavery. Therefore, the "average" white American had nothing to do with slavery nor did they benefit in anyway because they were back in Europe or Asia when slavery was happening. Therefore, why should all non-black Americans have the financial burden of paying for something they had not benefit from?

Not all Black Africans were hunting for slaves to be sold. Only specific societies or tribes, who in today's terms would be called gangsters, were involved. WM
Reparations MUST be in the form of land distribution. Civil Rights Programs, apartment complexes, education, cash grants (welfare checks) has not--cannot do anything to help Blacks. Blacks need what makes everybody else economically secure...LAND (to use as they please). It was once the government's plan to give Black families 40 acres and a mule after slavery ended. This never happened.
To those who say that not everybody is responsible for
slavers:
Everybody but the slaves benefitted from slavery, even to the present
time--even if the benefit is in the form of a "privileged" status in
society. So as The Rock says, "Know your role and shut your mouth."

I found this photo at the Belgrade Pavilion during Toronto's "Caravan." As this month marks the anniversary of Tito's execution of General Draza Mihailovic it seemed appropriate to present it now.
Vagabond previously wrote about the 500 American Airmen rescued by the Serbian General Draza Mihailovic and his men. This medal was posthumously and SECRETLY awarded to the general by the United States which didn't want to antagonize Tito. Seeing this beautiful medal brings tears to my eyes for the horrible wrong done Serbs in the past and today and most of all to the wrong done to Draza Mihailovic. Here's the accompanying statement:

"General Dragoljub Mihailovic distinguished himself in an outstanding manner as Commander-in-Chief of the Yugoslavian Army forces and later as Minister of War by organizing and leading important resistance forces against the enemy which occupied Yugoslavia from December 1941 to December 1944. Through the undaunted efforts of his troops, many United States airmen were rescued and returned safely to friendly control. General Mihailovich and his forces, under extreme hardships, contributed materially to the Allied cause, and were instrumental in obtaining a final Allied Victory."

I was reading with interest your pages. Your writings are refreshing and interesting. Very helpful in identifying nonsense and overimposing intellectual gymnastics. However - there are no real ... answers. At least not yet.

Hi William,
I saw your new page - Extracts of Existence. They are quite interesting. Some I do agree, and logical. While some not quite. Some of the topics that caught my eyes were, Hell, Death, Time, Creativity, God, and Life. There were a lot to ponder from those quotes, and lots too, for me to share my view. But however, I saw an article, which says it all from what I believe. Hence, I would like to share this knowledge with you. Hope you will enjoy reading it and that it would be an additional knowledge to you.

The Purpose of Life in Islamic Perspectives (Excerpts)
For a disbeliever the purpose of this life is to
collect and amass great wealth, money, power and
position. Over indulging in eating, drinking, drugs,
sex and gambling are a high priority to them. But all
of this will not avail them anything good in the
grave, on the Day of Judgment or in the Next Life.
Eventually he will be faced with the question:
Now what?
What's! Next?
Where am I going?
What will happen to me?
He will come to know. For sure he will come to know.
But then what will the knowledge avail him?
Look how Islam solves the mystery of the puzzle of life. It provides the answers to the questions and concerns of the human beings on all levels and in every aspect.
It is really quite simple.
The purpose of life as understood by the Believing
Muslim can be simply stated in only two (2) words:
Obey God.
Our only purpose and salvation lie in these two words.
We must come to know our Creator, Sustainer and
Ultimate Judge. We must learn to believe in Him, thank
Him, praise Him, honor Him and worship Him, alone
without any partners from His Creation. We must learn about His
Messengers and Prophets, peace be upon them, and the
message with which they were all sent. We must learn
the Word of God as was directly revealed, preserved and memorized
and passed down by memory throughout all the
generations of Muslims to the present day.
Those who are in search of truth, having open minds and hearts will recognize this as a message in truth and sincerity. Open your heart and your mind now and ask the Almighty God of the Universe [Allah] to guide you now to His TrueWay. And then be ready to accept your true purpose in life.

What have Serbs come to? I guess if his wife, daughter, mother were raped or murdered he'd be inviting the criminal over for coffee!

Greetings, today i stummbled on to your news letter and therefore the article you wrote on the Millions for Reparations March in D.C. on August 17th. Believe me your arguement is a common and simply surface. Your argument with reparations for Africans in America simply suggests that we are just beginning to ask for reparations from the U.S. government, do your research and you will find that Africans in America have been making the demand for reparations since the mid 1800's. Also you must consider the time in which slavery lasted, about 246 yrs. that involved generation after generation, the language, culture, identity and humanity of a people were stolen. Please when you speak of a people that have been dehumanized through coon cartoons, the KKK and etc. try to be just, the Jews of Germany were given reparations from the U.S., the Native Americans recieved reparations from the U.S., the Japanese recieved reparations from the U.S. With the evidence that you have given you suggest that Africans are not just as human as they are. Are you being selective or objective with your research, lets get an total look at the problem. I apologize if you have also been conditioned to dislike Africans i can't blame you it's the norm now and your pat of it. Also Viola Plummer one of the activist heading the March just lost her husband while taking time to fight for her people, so please remember that alot of people have put and are putting their lives on the line for us, so never disrespect our liberation like you have.
