Up to now Milosevic seems to be defending himself all right. The press, which never planned to write what Milosevic has to say, is caught in its own trap. They wanted to outsmart history but they put their foot into their own mouth. Now the ingenuous public, at least some of them, will lose their pristine belief in what they read. A good start toward growing up for 'old goats.' They can try to justify themselves with "we didn't know" which is not an excuse when countries are ruined, populations subdued, and history fabricated.
Let me give an example of some familiar daily life story. A couple had a baby, charming, radiant, beautiful, smart, vivacious. Everything one needs to be happy and to succeed in life. They were so happy with the baby, playing with it like a doll, and the baby was happy too, until it started to walk. Then things got complicated. They lived in conditions impossible for a baby because everything was too dangerous to touch. So, instead of changing the living conditions they decided to transform the baby, its very nature. They forbade it to touch anything and disciplined it severely each time it did. And the baby, at this stage, HAS to touch. Hands and eyes are the only tools it possesses to develop its brain and contact with the world. The discipline served for nothing because the brain wasn't developed yet to understand cause and effect. So for the first time it started to cry and the cruel stupid parents continued to discipline. As a result the baby only grew physically, very strong and big for its age. But mentally, receded to babyhood. It didn't learn to talk, just cried with no reason. From a radiant little angel they converted it in comparison to a pathetic half idiot. The brilliant sparkling eyes became dead, like a dead fish. Now they are preoccupied because they 'didn't know' that this would happen.
Let's not take an example from them. Let's stop 'not knowing.' The hardline doesn't always help. Israel doesn't know yet that one never gets rid of Kamikaze. The towers will fall here and there and the hunt for terrorists will last forever. The new Dark Ages to come will surpass everything we knew up to now unless there's a miracle and the bullies are sent into retirement. Let's do something before the bombs provoke volcanic eruptions sometime far from the impact points and the north and south poles lose their white color to be covered in soot. From potential children of paradise to come we are preparing generations of the sewer.
