Order Reigns in Baghdad (4/28)

Shi'ite clergy take charge in Iraq
By Paul Martin
THE WASHINGTON TIMES
BAGHDAD - Shi'ite clergy are giving the orders
and providing services that govern the daily lives
of 2 million people in this city's teeming northern
neighborhood.

In spite of mutual and repeated manifestations of hostility, the NWO and fundamentalism are made to cooperate. Islamic fundamentalists know how to hold the population in an iron grip. Saddam Hussein would be ideal for the NWO if he weren't so modern and nationalistic. Years ago I wrote in Vagabond, I quote from memory, 'In oil countries the NWO needs regimes that close universities, don't develop industry, keep women veiled and in the kitchen, stone adulteresses, cut off thieves' hands and give away oil to foreigners.' After the Polish anti-Russian uprising was crushed, the Tsar received a reassuring telegram: "Order reigns in Warsaw." History doesn't need any particular geography to repeat itself.

"It's untidy. And freedom's untidy. And free people are free to make mistakes and commit crimes and do bad things." Donald H. Rumsfeld, Secretary of Defense (quoted on NYT Letters Page. Apr 14) _ _ _ _ _
Free people -- like Donald H. Rumsfeld.
What is crime and what is mistake? When it's the economy that may hurt the U.S., like burning oil fields, it's a crime. But if it's looting the Baghdad Museum, it's a mistake.
An acquaintance commented: how can a civilized person make such a statement in the face of a horrendous cultural and historical catastrophe?
Distorted Image of Reality (4/13)
Yesterday, on CBC TV an Israeli expert on Iraq was interviewed. I didn't note his name. It was an enlightening and intelligent presentation but the speaker couldn't refrain from introducing propaganda. He said that the Iraqi and Syrian political party lines are based on hate. This is disinformation. The only ideology based on hate was Nazism because Nazism is the only ideology based exclusively on Anthropology. This means that you are hated for what you are not what you do and the Nazis never hid it. Take away the concrete reason for hatred in the Arab world and you will discover right away that their hatred was not spontaneous but provoked. May I emphasize again and again that the Israeli/Arab negotiation in Rabin's time showed that Israel could become not only tolerated but a welcomed neighbour. Neither the USA nor Israel can knock the entire world into obedience with virtually no negotiation. Others tried it before. World peace is still within a fingertip's reach but the Peace side (most of Europe) must start to push harder in this direction.
Less and Less Serbs BELGRADE B92, 3. april 2003. The latest census shows that Serbia has the lowest percentage of young people in the world and that the average age is steadily increasing. .......< >....... Powell urges Serbian cooperation with Hague court to aid EU entry BELGRADE, April 2 (AFP) - US Secretary of State Colin Powell on Wednesday told the leaders of Serbia and Montenegro that fulfilling their obligations towards the UN war crimes tribunal in the Hague would help their hopes of joining NATO and European Union.......< >.......
No wonder the children in Serbia are in no hurry to be born; who would like to go from maternity ward to the Hague? The crime? Being born Serb.

Sarajevo Market Killers + Balladur + Nato = Tri-Axis of Evil (3/31)French magazine editor Jean Daniel put the question directly to Prime Minister Edouard Balladur: "'They [i.e., the Muslims] have committed this carnage on their own people?' I exclaimed in consternation. 'Yes,' confirmed the Prime Minister without hesitation, 'but at least they have forced NATO to intervene.'"

U.S. accuses Russia of selling sophisticated weaponry to Iraq (3/25)This accusation scares me because it may mean that, in the middle of this invasion, The Power may be ready for new targets. Or perhaps the U.S. is looking for excuses for the less flashy results than expected. A missile hit Iran "by accident"? Iran is classified as part of the axis of evil. Missiles fell in Turkey "by accident"? Turkey disobeyed The Power and provoked its anger.
And when will missiles fall "by accident" on Russia?
"Unholy Alliance" (3/15)What do they have to discuss in the Azores and what does Spain have to do in all of this?! Let's imagine a scenario: In a comfortable resort setting proper to many honest and less honest transactions, Spain may get some concession on Gibraltar for endorsing invasion of Iraq. During WW2, Spain sided with the Nazis, sending the Blue Division to fight the Soviet Union, probably to be rewarded with Gibraltar once Germany won the war. To bribe the Arabs, the Muslim world and Europe, Bush and Blair will discuss the Palestinian issue. All this boils down to an inglorious resurrection of the "Holy Alliance." What a degeneration of the world in the XXI century! After victory over Nazism followed by the luminous Marshall Plan, after the pacific victory over the Soviet Union, the world, with the arrival of the NWO, has lost perhaps a unique opportunity for evolution. We may be headed for a thousand year New Dark Ages with gangster-style heavy-duty slaughters upon a poisonous planet.
NWM (New World Morality) (3/15)
Serbian leader slain, was foe of Milosevic Dusan Stojanovic/AP The Associated Press <...> Djindjic's trade of Milosevic for $1.2 billion in international economic aid appeared to have won respect from people desperate to improve a living standard that ranks among the lowest in Europe. <...>
Even the reportage has taken on a gangster-like style and nobody notices. Public respect for a bribe! Who would dare advance such an idea before the NWO came to power?
Djindjic Murdered (3/12)Since the NWO succeeded in doing what the Nazis didn't -- meaning, to break the Serbian spirit -- Serbia has become a playing field for various Mafia-style games. Djindjic, brilliant Machiavellian, decided to participate in the NWO's gangster-way believing that history would vindicate him. I believe he was wrong; his politics contributed to deepening the corruption of public spirit to which he himself has fallen victim.
Brits Backing Out? (3/12)(Found at www.legitgov.org)
Brits Backing Out? -- Sources tell CBS News that Great Britain America's closest ally may find it politically impossible to commit its military to a U.S.-led attack on Saddam Hussein. And that could force the United States to go it alone in Iraq. ...<>...
Poor brave America! - Does it mean that it has to go against the Mighty Microbe Iraq all by itself!?
"We need preventive war(s)" (3/02)By chance, on the New York Times February 11 Op-Ed page, I came across an appalling article by Kenneth M. Pollack, "A Last Chance to Stop Iraq" in which he preaches destruction of Saddam Hussein because, even if he is inoffensive today, he may be dangerous tomorrow. In this, Mr. Pollack joins the logic of Adolph Hitler who preached destruction of the Jews today because tomorrow they may dominate the world.
Given the opportunity, I would ask Mr. Hans Blix: If attacked by its neighbours Turkey and Iran, would Iraq be able to resist? I believe I know the answer in advance -- "No." Too weak to oppose his powerful neighbours and strong enough to be dangerous to the US, if not today, tomorrow. And whose turn will be next?
Imaginary Speech by the Turkish Prime Minister to his Nation Which Refuses Invasion of Iraq (3/02)"We know that during the Ottoman Empire the Sultan was the absolute master and everybody below, from the highest to the lowest rank, was a virtual slave.
Today the US is the Sultan of the planet and we all have no choice but to be either allies/servants or enemies/servants. So, let's participate in the invasion of Iraq. Otherwise we may become the Iraq of tomorrow. We don't have oil but the Sultan has a good memory and doesn't tolerate disobedience."
