After the Loss of "Miracle Man – Peace Man" Rabin, Israel Continues on Dangerous Pathways (4/03)
Bush offered indulgences to Israel concerning the Golan Heights and territories annexed by the settlers. Karzai offered, on a silver platter, Afghan women to the Taliban. In the future, the West, especially Europe, may offer Israel on a silver platter to the Muslim world. The West may be tired because of the never ending explosive situation with Golan Heights and the settlers' annexed territories. Israel can defend itself. The fight would be extremely bloody but Israel cannot eternally beat the huge Muslim and Arab world. Bush was a warlord and people like Lieberman are Bush's offspring. The Israeli population chose the relic, Lieberman, because from their peripheral point of view Israel is a world power. It is not. The only salvation for Israel before it's too late is to recognize the value of peace which is worth more than a few acres of settlers' annexed land and Syrian Golan Heights.

"How nice it is in a little war -- when the horseman falls from his horse." (From an old Polish military song) (3/22)
How many more Canadian soldiers have to fall in order to help little girls go to school in Afghanistan, as was more or less expressed by the influential former British warlord, Tony Blair. Never in history did nations make war over democratic principles. It simply doesn’t work. Reaction to 9/11 could have resulted in the emotional outburst supporting attacks on two countries but we see more and more that the connection was very weak, fading with time.

Invader remains invader however good his intentions (which they are not). The wrong wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have to stop. To wrap the retreat in victory slogans is like putting powder on an old shady lady to make her look like a young seductive virgin.
