Re: About Survival ...,

Sometimes I don't receive an answer to my request to publish a letter and I don't know how to interpret it. So I've decided to simplify things and not oblige readers to answer. The most recent letters are at the top of the page.

Re: About Survival (This issue)

Dear William,
In your article, you quote the Dalai Lama who said ‘Humanity has to unite.” But, how can it be if populations in Africa refuse to fight against Jihad and in Asia, against the Taliban, even if they are opposed to them. They leave the job to the French and the Americans. In post colonial times everybody should first of all be for themselves. Military expeditions abroad make no sense; they never win because the duties belong first of all to the locals. In the case of terrorist attacks directed against the West, punitive expeditions would be more efficient than invasions – remember Fallujah. Let the locals clean their dirty laundry among themselves and the Westerners should keep an eye on the immigrants to defend their interior safety.
Greetings
N.C.

You have the right to express yourself just as everybody has the right to love and hate. Debate is part of my job but here I’ll leave it to others to eventually answer you. WM
