In our times when lynching and duels are gone we should adapt to more modern conditions than the Second Amendment covers. The forefathers wanted to protect Americans from government and today we are busy defending populations against individual murderers. Therefore, the Second Amendment is not sufficient. The right to arms should be replaced by reasonable arms control.
