East Ukrainians are Orthodox, speak Russian and inhabit their historical territories. They cannot be considered less an ethnie than any others in a similar situation. Forcing them to become "Westerners" is like forcing Serbs to become Croats or vice versa -- in sum, pathetic and ridiculous.
