(As other short items may follow, I've decided to group them together.)
Chinese Wall Becomes Asian Wall? (11/28)
Even if China doesn’t like the aggressivity of its tiny North Korean ally, North Korea can blackmail China by calling the local Koreas’ conflict an “Asian matter”, not the business of the West. North Korea, being less powerful than South Korea, can, in the shadow of Chinese power, permit itself arrogant "skirmishes.” South Korea has Western allies like the U.S. and Canada that can be presented as Western aggression on Asia. North Korea carelessly provokes world conflict from local conflict. Because of this complex political situation, North Korea can endlessly continue “skirmishing” toward its southern enemy/ brother.
Nato Prolongs Its Intervention in Afghanistan (11/22)
This will change nothing, either politically or militarily; those officials only want to hold on to their seats. Obviously they don’t mind having eternal war in Afghanistan. The inflexible Islamic countries will become even more inflexible. World terror will grow. I don’t want to think about the consequences.
Show (11/01)
I read a notice about my art show on a web forum. I didn’t write publicly about my show until now because I didn’t want to make a ‘potpourri’ of the Vagabond. But now that the information is out there I will also give the links to my two previous exhibitions. I will add the newest when it’s ready.
(Update 11/03)
The October 2010 exhibition has been added to the recent exhibition page. In addition to the images shown I also presented a retrospective selection of woodcuts. At some point I may add these to wilekart.com
